Marine services company Yacht Tek Limited has recently relocated to East Cowes, and joins a wide range of other local businesses now based at Kingston Wharf. 

Yacht Tek is located in the unit adjacent to the hoist dock at Kingston Marine Boatyard, behind the main yacht lay-up area. Owned by Simon Clark, Yacht Tek specialises in the sales and installation of PrestoMarine Lifts for tenders or PWCs, synthetic ‘teak’ decking, and Tek Tanks – water, waste and diesel fuel tanks. Yacht Tek also provides marine engineering services in collaboration with Dave Hathway of D.H. Marine.

As well as servicing the Isle of Wight, Yacht Tek also operates in Hampshire, Sussex, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Projects and sales are also concluded overseas with works being carried out successfully as far away as Mombasa, Kenya in the Indian Ocean! 

Yacht Tek are now the sole distributor in the UK, Spain and the Balearics for PrestoMarine Lifts; a unique, innovative and patented system which facilitates the transfer of tenders, personal water craft and RIBs to the water or back onto a swim platform of a vessel.

Yacht Tek’s range of services includes the sales and installation of synthetic decking, a superb alternative to wooden decking that can be applied to almost any surface including GRP, steel and timber.

Tek Tanks, custom made and standard plastic tanks for fuel, waste and water are also supplied to the marine industry.
