CHC welcomes the news of a £15m Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) investment into enhancing cross-Solent connections, which is good news for Cowes Harbour and the Island as a whole. This funding boost will provide a £14.95m investment package to transform and modernise the Red Funnel terminals at East Cowes and Southampton, improving transport connectivity and removing capacity constraints. 

The deal will support development and re-configuration of the ferry terminal in East Cowes, in particular the car park, marshalling areas and road access infrastructure; it will also enable the East Cowes regeneration project to get underway, providing new jobs and homes.
