Shepards Wharf Marina has teamed up with Town Quay marina over in Southampton to offer a range of exciting RYA Active Marina events.

Shepards Wharf Marina and Cowes Harbour Moorings customers are very welcome to attend any or all of Town Quay’s forthcoming events, see below. Please make sure you Contact Shepards Wharf as soon as possible to book your places for the various activities as space is limited.

Town Quay RYA Active Marina Event and Christmas Dinner
The current programme is as follows (subject to minor changes):

Friday, 28th November 2014
09:45-10:45 ABP Southampton ‘History of the Port and VTS Tour’
11:15-12:15 ABP Southampton ‘History of the Port and VTS Tour’
Places are limited so will be offered on a first come first served basis until fully booked.

Saturday, 29th November 2014
11:00 Talk from Town Quay partners at Drivers Boat Yard about their services and what happens to your boat when it is with them, plus Q&A time with the Drivers Rep (Free – please book your place)
Tea and Coffee time!
12:00 A short talk from the Town Quay assistants, ‘Securing your boat in the marina and things to consider for winter’ followed by Q&A time with the Town Quay Team and sharing ideas for next season! (Free – please book your place)
12:30 Buffet lunch (Free – please book your place)
13:30 Presentation on ‘Winterising your Boat’ (tbc)
14:30-15:30 Christmas songs, mulled wine and mince pies by the Town Quay marina office
19:00 for 19:30 Town Quay berth holder and visitors Christmas Dinner at the Grand Cafe (£39.99 per head – Dress code: Smart)

Thank you to those who have already expressed an interest, it should prove to be a thoroughly enjoyable day and a time to look back on a really great season with you all.

Please note that Shepards Wharf need to have your menu choices for the Christmas Dinner by 3rd November, otherwise your menu will be listed as Roast Pumpkin and Chestnut Soup, Traditional Butter Basted Turkey and Christmas Pudding – and unfortunately cannot be changed. You are welcome to invite guests to join you, so don’t miss the boat(!), book your place and reply by email or call us on 01983 297821.

The day’s events at Town Quay (including a buffet lunch) are free of charge to visitors who book a place with Shepards in advance. The cost of the Christmas dinner is £ 39.99 per head payable in advance. Town Quay will be providing welcome drinks for the table.
