Shepards Events Centre opens for RTI weekend

There’s great excitement at Shepards Wharf Marina as the newly refurbished Sugar Store Events Centre is about to open its doors for the Round the Island Race weekend offering live music, food and drink for all. 

Entry is free and bands ‘Jimmy’s Big Fish’ and ‘Helter Skelter’ will be playing. The new bar in the Events Centre will be selling drinks for thirsty sailors and spectators alike. The Amabi Restaurant will be setting up a BBQ on the Shepards Pier as well as getting up at the crack of dawn on Race Day to offer breakfast from 0500 onwards on Saturday, 27th June.

Menu includes steak burgers, marinaded chicken, pulled pork, veggie burgers, and salad.
Specials: “secret pork” and “black Angus grain fed beef steak”

Jimmy’s Big Fish will play at Shepards Sugar Store Events Centre on Friday, 26th June.

Jimmy’s Big Fish are an Isle of Wight based band, established 1996 and fronted by singer/song writer Simon Holmes with musicians Peter Snaith, Bobby Buchanan and Mark Wozencroft.

Helter Skelter will also be playing.
