Following his appointment in Autumn 2023, Captain Jon Kidd officially took on the duties of Cowes Harbour Master this week.

Capt. Jon Kidd has over 25 years of experience in the marine industry, from stewarding on small passenger vessels to Captain on our local Red Funnel ferries. He has also been a Cowes Pilot for the last 7 years. Jon was previously a Deputy Harbour Master in Cowes and rejoins us from Trinity House, where he was the Inspector of Seamarks. He grew up on the Island and lives locally with his family.
