Cowes Harbour Commission is recruiting a Junior Port Operative for our Kingston Marine Services (KMS) team at East Cowes. 

The successful applicant will work with both the afloat and boatyard teams. Training afloat will be given to become a member of the marine services crew deploying moorings, buoyage and carrying out a broad range of marine projects. Shoreside duties will include assisting with the laying up of vessels up to 30 tonnes and general maintenance and yard work, and appropriate training will be provided in all yard and vessel plant. 

Duties ashore will also include polishing, antifouling and general marine services as well as maintenance in and around the yard.

This position will suit a fit, practical, self-motivated individual, who is used to manual work and interested in helping a business grow. Salary on application.
