Kingston Marine Boatyard (KMB), one of the largest yards on the River Medina, provides flexible services for around 150 yachts and motor vessels up to 40 tonnes. Keen, short-handed sailor Simon Brady chose to store his Jenneau Sunfast 3200 Fortify at KMB in 2012. Fortify was shrink wrapped and the yacht kept aired, dry, clean and secure whilst Simon worked abroad. Now, KMB is overseeing Fortify’s recommissioning. The Boatyard team is looking after cosmetics and painting with other jobs undertaken by onsite trades, including Couzens Marine Engineering, as well as local riggers and gas service engineers. “There’s a fantastic team at Kingston Boatyard,” said Simon, “and they give a great personal service. I’ve always found them prepared to go the extra mile to deliver a first class result.”
