Heavy-lift vessel Deo Volente in Cowes Harbour

The Dutch heavy-lift vessel MV Deo Volente, owned by Hartman Seatrade, entered Cowes Harbour on 14th and 15th December 2015. The Deo Volente is one of the largest ships ever to enter Cowes Harbour with a displacement of 5,486 tonnes and deck cranes, each with a lift capacity of 120 tonnes, which were used to off-load the cargo of four 88 tonne Rolls Royce generators at Medina Wharf.

See our slideshow of photos below taken whilst the Deo Volente was under pilotage entering and leaving the harbour.
