Cowes Harbour Commission requires a Harbour Patrol Officer to join our team based at Shepards Wharf Marina in Cowes.

Harbour Patrol Officers are on the water to assist and advise mariners. They are a friendly, welcoming and helpful presence in the busy marine environment of the harbour and River Medina. Throughout the year, the Patrol Officers are on the water in the evenings, at weekends and on bank holidays; some of the busiest times in the harbour. 
 
Cowes Harbour Commission is looking for a customer focused, enthusiastic applicant to fill the role of Harbour Patrol Officer. Good communication skills and previous experience in the marine industry are essential. The hours of work would be 39 per week, usually on a five day rota including weekends and bank holidays.
 
Minimum qualifications required for this post are:
• RYA Powerboat Level 2
• RYA First Aid, or equivalent
• RYA VHF Licence
• Boatman’s Licence preferred, but not essential
