First cruise ship of 2019 visits Cowes

MS Bremen, a Hapag Lloyd Cruises expedition ship, was the first cruise ship to call at Cowes this year on Friday, 10th May 2019. The 112 metre ship was piloted to its anchorage in Cowes Roads from where passengers disembarked by RIB to Trinity Landing. Over 100 German cruise passengers were welcomed by Visit Isle of Wight Travel Ambassadors onto The Parade. The weather was fine, the sea was beautifully calm, and we hear that the Bremen’s cruise guests had a lovely day on the Island.

We are pleased to confirm that the newly launched HANSEATIC Nature will now be making an inaugural call to Cowes on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th May, after delays at the shipyard had seen her maiden voyage cancelled back in April.
