An application has been received for a maintenance dredge licence at Cowes Yacht Haven (CYH). 

Location: 

Cowes Yacht Haven, Vectis Yard, High Street, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 7BD. 

Description of the Proposed Work: 

The area to be dredged includes the North basin and parts of the south basin. The final dredge level will be between 2m -3m below chart datum as per those shown on SNC 2793. The amount of spoil dredge material to be removed is up to 15000 cubic metres. The work is aimed to be carried out in late February or early March this year. 

The works are subject to Marine Management Organisation consent, application Number: MLA/2013/00371

The deadline for comments or objections is Monday, 24th February 2014; these should be submitted to the Harbour Office in writing.
