An application has been received for a maintenance dredge licence at East Cowes Marina. 

Location: 
East Cowes Marina, Britannia Way, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6UB. 

Description of the Proposed Work: 
The area to be dredged includes the P and Q basin and extends south to the R and S basin and the T basin. The final dredge level will be to approximately 2.5m below chart datum (CD). The amount of spoil dredge material to be removed is approximately 12,000 cubic metres. The work is aimed to be carried out in November of this year; this will form the second phase of the three to four year project to remove 30,000 cubic metres of silt from ECM which commenced in 2013.

The deadline for comments or objections is 1st November 2014; these should be submitted to the Harbour Office in writing.
