An application has been received for a maintenance dredge licence at United Kingdom Sailing Academy. 

Location: 
United Kingdom Sailing Academy Marina (UKSA), Arctic Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 7PQ. 

Description of the Proposed Work: 
The area to be dredged includes the United Kingdom Sailing Academy site pontoon berthing area. The final dredge level will be to approximately 2m below chart datum (CD). The amount of spoil dredge material to be removed in 2021 is approximately 5,000 cubic metres. The work is aimed to commence in February 2021 with approximately one third of the marina being dredged every three years. The license is to extend for 10 years.

Cowes Harbour Commission has not raised comments or objections to the Marine Management Organisation.
