The Charles Stanley Cowes Classics Week takes place from Monday, 21st to Friday, 25th July 2014. 

Peter Taylor, Chairman of Cowes Classics Week, recently commented on the news that event partners, Cowes Harbour Commission, are holding their prices for swinging moorings for dayboat classes at 2013 rates. “This is extremely welcome news for our competitors, and greatly assists our aims in continuing to develop Cowes Classics Week. The regatta is already the fastest growing event in the country and the assistance from all our sponsors, both in financial support and in well placed initiatives like this one from CHC, all helps us to build our reputation.” 

Shepards Wharf Marina, operated by Cowes Harbour Commission, has also been selected again as the official marina for Cowes Classics Week. Boats will be moored together in the North Basin at Shepards Wharf to create an event atmosphere. In a new initiative this year, the event’s famous homemade cake will be served to competitors at Shepards as well as in the Royal London Clubhouse after racing!
