According to Trust Port Guidance, Cowes Harbour Commission (CHC) has the ability to make investments – that do not provide the usual rate of commercial return that normal projects should do – into projects that will benefit either the harbour long-term or its stakeholders.

The Commission has delivered a significant number of stakeholder benefits over many years but CHC is receiving an increasing number of applications for funding, therefore the Board of Commissioners has considered it appropriate to develop a set of guidelines on which applications can be judged.

In October 2019, the Board agreed a ‘Stakeholder Benefits Policy’, which is now available to view on the CHC website: cowesharbourcommission.co.uk/stakeholder_benefits.
