Notice is hereby given that the outer buoys of the Eastern Channel (EC1 and EC2) may not be in the charted positions. It is believed that due to the storm winds, the buoys have moved slightly to the East of their charted positions.

The buoys will be returned to station and positions confirmed as soon as practicable.

All mariners using the Eastern Channel are advised to navigate with caution and use all available means to check their position and to ensure they are in safe water.

This local notice to mariners will remain in force until further notice.
