Local Notice to Mariners No. 46(T) of 2024

Time Expired Pyrotechnic Disposal Event - Monday 16 September to Monday 30 September 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cowes Harbour Commission will be hosting a disposal event for out-of-date distress flares, also known as Time Expired Pyrotechnics, or TEP’s, at Cowes Harbour Shepards Marina from Monday 16 September to Monday 30 September during the hours of 0800 – 1730.

The disposal event is limited to Isle of Wight residents only and proof of address must be shown.

There will be a charge of £6 per TEP to cover the disposal costs.

This notice will be self-cancelling at 2359 on 30 September 2024.
